The Geopark sites are connected to each other via the so-called Copper Ore Path. This 55.4 km long hiking trail ends in St. Veit in the southwest and Hüttau in the northeast and can be hiked in 5 or 4 stages. Here the experience does not come too briefly. Along this attractively designed hiking trail you can enjoy nature, including bizarre rock formations and waterfalls as well as wonderful views, and above all the following experiences:
Traces of mining such as excavations (Schurfbaue), "holes", Pingen and melting places of "old miners
Cultural-historical features such as churches, chapels, ruins, etc.
Topic-specific information and experience stations
Adventure routes, nature playgrounds, rest oases, picnic areas etc.
Culinary delights with local delicacies in restaurants, snack stations and alpine huts
At the Bischofshofen Tourist Office, you can also book guided tours along the Ore Path for several days.
