PROGRAMME
Friday:
arrival and accommodation in hotel;
meeting with the guide and presentation;
meeting the group and brief programme presentation, with a general historical overview of the Julian/Tarvisian Alps;
dinner and overnight stay.
Saturday:
breakfast at hotel;
transferring on your own to Malborghetto;
Fort Hensel excursion and then down to Malborghetto through the Calvario;
themed lunch in Restaurant: historical Valcanale dishes;
afternoon visit to the Malborghetto Ethnographic Museum;
back to the hotel;
dinner and overnight stay.
* for groups only: after dinner readings and other entertainers talk about history, traditions and food.
Sunday:
breakfast at hotel;
transferring on your own to Val Saisera;
guided excursion down the valley or at high altitude following the traces of the Great War depending on preference;
lunch at a farmhouse or refuge;
