S.Co.Re. "Sustainable and COmpetitive REsorts" is a project of interregional cooperation between Austria and Italy and involves the Veneto Region with the Province of Belluno, Friuli Venezia Giulia with the Tarvisiano area and Austria with the Länder (states) of Carinthia and Salzburg.
Tourism is a dynamic and continuously expanding economic activity. The recent development of transport on a global scale, the dissemination of information via the Web, the significant growth in demand and supply of tourism the option of choosing your destination from among an increasingly wide range of destinations and the change in tourist behaviour are factors that, on the one hand, support the growth of the number of tourists and, on the other hand, increase competitiveness among the different regions.
In the face of these scenarios, the SCORE partners have created a network to strengthen the competitiveness of mountain, rural and cross-border tourism.
