In this haunting cemetery, also known as 'Cemetery of Heroes', are buried 180 soldiers belonging to all nationalities of the Empire, as well as some Russian prisoners of war come in tow of the troops returning from the Galician front and used in back areas as porters or kitchen workers. The original wooden crosses, typical of Austro-Hungarian cemeteries, were replaced with concrete tombstones in the 1930s.
