Alpe Adria Trail

The Alpe-Adria-Trail connects three regions, Carinthia, Slovenia and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, for a total of 43 stages and about 750 km. This long-distance path starts at the foot of Mount Großglockner, Austria's highest, leads through the most beautiful mountain and lake landscapes of the Carinthia, near the Austrian-Italia-Slovenian borderline, and ends in Muggia on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.
The Alpe-Adria-Trail takes existing trails; every stage offers point of interest that bear a significant effect on how fast you go. In the future, they will also offer a «magical place», a special «landscape gem» characterized by the harmony of the four elements. These places are already there and do capture your attention in intense ways, but future, well-thought out architectural actions will further enhance the landscape and stimulate the senses.
