Feltre - City to discover

On the Colle delle Capre, in the Piave valley, near the Vette, surrounded by a timeless charm, with its richly frescoed palaces, appears Feltre, the ideal city for those who love art and culture.
The historic center has retained a distinctive and unmistakable appearance.
The main entrance to the Citadel is Porta Imperiale, while on the opposite extreme is Porta Oria. In the middle point, Porta Pusterla gives access to a picturesque covered staircase. At the peak of the Citadel, the splendid Piazza Maggiore opens up, dominated by Lombard fountains and surrounded by Venetian palaces, dominated by the Castello di Alboino.
Palazzo Cumano, today the "Carlo Rizzarda" Gallery of Modern Art, a museum dedicated to the master of wrought iron and Palazzo Villabruna, home of the Civic Museum, are well worth a visit.
