The Lakes Fusine basin is one of the region’s most fascinating places.

The two lakes of Fusine are perhaps among the most beautiful in the region. They are well placed inside a thick spruce forest at the foot of the Mount Mangart range.
Many typical animals and plants live in this environment, which changes with the seasons; endless natural hues and unique shades paint the forest and lakes with magic.

From Lakes Fusine you can take excursions of different lengths. In addition to the classic tour of the two lakes, connected by comfortable paths, the Zacchi Refuge can be reached from here.
Known for its beauty, the Lakes Fusine basin is one of the most valuable naturalistic places of the entire Alpine chain. Lush forests and impressive mountains give this location extraordinary charm that attracts thousands of visitors every year.
For several years, Lake Fusine has served as the stage for the “No Borders Music Festival”, featuring artists the likes of Ludovico Einaudi, Giovanni Allevi, Mario Biondi, Ben Harper, etc.
